Music Technology - Sound Engineering

About This Course
Music Performance is an essential skill that will help form your coursework, whether in the studio recording a song or composing music using technology. This qualification gives you the skills and knowledge you need to thrive in the music industry, by developing your performance and creative skill, utilising the recording and production environment.

Course Content & Assessment
Split into Mandatory and Optional components, all units are coursework based with an externally assessed piece set by the exam board. These units will explore the use of studio equipment and mixing software with the aims to create music through recording and synthetic design.

What could this course lead to?
This course can help you progress to university in any number of music based degree courses. When studied alongside other A Levels it carries enough UCAS points to access many Higher Education degree courses.
