Dress Code
Students must follow the Sixth Form Dress Code which requires them to dress formally and in line with the guidance below. Any student in breach of the dress code can expect to be sent home to change..

When wearing a suit, jackets or blazers are optional. If these are worn, students must ask permission to remove them. |
Formal dress or skirt. |
Length must be below, on or just above the knee.

Formal shirt, blouse or smart top. |
Must cover the shoulder and be plain or understated in design. This includes any ties that are worn with a formal shirt. |
Jumper or cardigan. |
Optional item to wear in cold weather.

Formal, polishable shoes or boots. |
Must be plain and not have an exaggerated or ‘trainer-like’ sole.

Make-up. |
Must be discreet. |
Jewellery. |
Must be kept to a minimum. |
Coats and scarves. |
Must not be worn inside the Sixth Form or main school buildings. |
Additional items and issues:
- No hoodies or sports jumpers.
- No flannel shirts, T-shirts or polo shirts.
- No bare midriffs, low cut or strappy tops.
- No denim or leather-style clothing.
- No tight-fitting clothing.
- No leggings or jeggings.
- No trainers or flip-flops.
- No bright coloured clothing e.g. neon.
- No political symbols or slogans e.g. badges or stickers to ensure an environment that all students feel comfortable and welcomed in.
The list above has been added to help and guide, but is not exhaustive. Students should seek further guidance from the Sixth Form Leadership Team where necessary. The Sixth Form Director has ultimate discretion in establishing what is and is not acceptable.
