About This Course
The BTEC National Diploma is a Level 3, 2-year qualification in Business which gives learners the knowledge, understanding and skills which underpin the business sector that will prepare them for further study, training or employment. 

It is suitable for learners who want to progress to higher education courses in business areas before entering employment but it can also support learners who want to progress directly to employment in job roles in business or business management and Higher Apprenticeships in the business sector.

Course Content & Assessment
The Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Business is equivalent in size to two A Levels and comprises of 8 units (of which 6 are mandatory) including 3 that are externally assessed.

Topics include Finance, Customer Service and Marketing for example.

Grades available range from double Pass (PP) up to double Distinction Star (D*D*).

What could this course lead to?
This course will help prepare you for a range of business and financial degree programmes or jobs within the profession. The qualification meets admission requirements for many relevant courses recognised by higher education providers, including Business Management, Business Studies, Marketing, Finance, Accounting and many other related higher education qualifications. 
Employment opportunities include junior business roles in marketing, accountancy, administration, finance, events management, HR and other related areas in the business sector, including higher apprenticeships.
